John started his real estate career in 1985 with Denniston/ Welker Realtors in Macedon, NY., joining his father Jim Denniston and Mark Welker.  He quickly became a rising force in Wayne, Ontario and Monroe county real estate sales. Working part time until 1986, with sales volume or $1000000, John committed to a successful full time career in Real Estate, earning numerous sales recognition awards and earning the GRI designation, Assoc. Broker, Historic home certification, Ethics certification, and continuing education courses throughout the years. With over 15 sales/team management courses studied including ERA's Top Gun program and personal coaching with Dan Elser, John has always focused on a high level of sales skill to better assist his clients.    
Denniston/Welker joined Prudential Rochester in 1996 and Prudential then merged with Hunt Real Estate in 2003. 
 
Since the Hunt merger, John has consistently ranked among the top 30 agents of the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors. From 2013 through 2017 annual number of homes sold have ranged from 95 to 110.
 
We offer a team approach to your real estate needs with John as the team leader of six team members who specialize in buyer needs, while John's focus is working with home sellers and past clients.
