Chris Carretta leads the industry using the latest tools and marketing techniques to provide you with a superior home buying or selling experience. Integrity, Service and Results are the hallmark of Chris’ approach to your real estate needs.
Chris’ passion for Rochester is reflected in where he calls home: the Grove Place Neighborhood in one of downtown Rochester’s Preservation Districts. He enjoys the downtown’s urban lifestyle and walking to shops, cafes and concerts. He believes Rochester’s downtown resurgence is related to the many cultural events, world-class music and music festivals, and incredible theater. The combination of Chris’ strong business background as the General Manager at a local Forbes 500 Company, his passion for homes, and network of resources provides his clients a superior real estate experience.
Chris has been selected by The Mayor of the City of Rochester to serve on the City’s Preservation Board, whose mission is to review applications for Certificates of Appropriateness required for alterations to landmarks and properties located in the City’s eight preservation districts. It is also responsible for developing and adopting preservation guidelines. Additionally in support of the preservation of Rochester’s classic homes, Chris restored a 1905 center entrance Colonial located in the City’s Park Avenue District. The home, which received an award of merit from the Landmark Society of Western New York and was featured in Old House Journal magazine, was also showcased on HGTV’s Restore America TV series. Chris supports a variety of cultural and art organizations including The Center for Youth, Memorial Art Gallery, BOA Editions, and Rochester Contemporary Art Center.
