HUNT Real Estate Opens Doors to Its Largest Central New York Branch

Million-dollar renovation and expansion of existing Manlius location strengthens the company’s market presence by combining its two most successful CNY branches

HUNT Real Estate has opened the doors to its newly expanded branch in Manlius, NY. Located in Madison Row at 7650 Highbridge Road, the branch brings together two of HUNT’s most successful Central New York offices – Fayetteville/Dewitt and Manlius – into one facility.

Dubbed the HUNT CNY East branch, the million-dollar renovation of the first-floor added four conference rooms, 36 private offices, an in-house HUNT Mortgage office with three Mortgage Consultants, as well as in-branch representatives for HUNT Insurance and Network Title Agency. HUNT has operated a real estate office on the second floor of Madison Row since 2014. The company acquired the lease to the first-floor space, previously occupied by a restaurant, in 2019.

By combining the two branches, the new location has over 75 sales professionals, making it the largest HUNT branch in the region in terms of agent population and sales production. According to the Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors, the two branches that make up HUNT CNY East have collectively sold over $176 million in the previous 12 months (June 2019 – June 2020), effectively ranking it as the most productive real estate office in Central New York.

HUNT Real Estate ERA Expands in the Capital Region

HUNT acquires Century 21 Potvin Realty in Glens Falls, NY

HUNT Real Estate ERA has expanded its presence in the Capital Region, acquiring the Century 21 Potvin Realty, a locally-run real estate firm located at 12 Harrison Avenue in Glens Falls. Century 21 Potvin has been serving the Glen Falls and the Capital Region for three years and employs 19 real estate agents, all of whom will be joining HUNT’s Glens Falls branch at 333 Glen Street, Suite 103. Since 2017, Century 21 Potvin has sold 369 properties and $67.5 million in sales volume.

HUNT Real Estate Corp. announces the sale of 67 West Chippewa Street in downtown Buffalo, NY. Jason Sokody, Associate Broker for HUNT Real Estate ERA, who is also commercially licensed with HUNT Commercial Real Estate, represented both sides in this 2.5 million dollar sale.

This is the 20th Decorators’ Show House. This collaboration between the Junior League of Buffalo and the Buffalo News has been happening since 1981, and has raised more than than $4.1 million dollars for the WNY community.

“This arts-and-crafts style home was designed by architect Ulysses G. Orr in 1910. The house is three stories and boasts multiple fireplaces, over 100 windows, a pool, and many original architectural details. The house’s namesake and original owner, William Palmer, was a prominent florist in Buffalo.  The house is located at 288 Lincoln Pkwy, Buffalo, NY.  The fully decorated Show House will be open to the public on April 27 – May 19, 2019.

Tickets to the Show House are non-refundable.  The Junior League of Buffalo is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.  The Show House is not wheelchair accessible and children under 10 are not permitted.”

Strong Sales Growth Helps HUNT Real Estate Surge In National Rankings

Leading industry publication ranks HUNT as the top family-owned and operated real estate firm headquartered in New York state

Respected real estate industry publication REAL Trends (www.realtrends.com) has released their annual Top 500 survey, ranking the nation’s top real estate firms based transactions and closed sales volume totals in 2018. With 13,495 closed transactions and $2.76 billion in sales volume in 2018, HUNT ranked nationally at #35 in transactions and #71 in sales volume on the REAL Trends Top 500 survey.

The REAL Trends survey also reported that HUNT experienced 20% growth in transactions and experienced a remarkable 49.5% increase in sales volume from the previous year.

The Top 500 survey also recognized HUNT in the following categories:

  • #17 on Top Movers – Transactions: Ranking of firms that had the largest increase in closed sides from 2017 to 2018
