HUNT Real Estate’s plan to reorganize and rebuild its facilities throughout the Central New York region is nearing completion.
The reorganization and rebuilding process began in 2019 with the firm’s Camillus branch office when it was moved from a 2,700 square foot facility into a new, state-of-the-art building on West Genesee Street with over 5,500 square feet of space. HUNT then began construction of its 10,000 square foot facility in Manlius, investing over $1 million dollars in what soon became the highest producing real estate branch in the Central New York MLS in 2021.
Following the completion of the Manlius branch, HUNT relocated its Oneida branch into a new building on Lenox Avenue, another customized build-out. Focus then turned to the North Syracuse market, where HUNT is moving its Cicero branch into a 3,600 square foot brand new facility at the Target Plaza on Brewerton Road. Concurrently, HUNT is in the process of remodeling its 10,000 square foot Liverpool location on Oswego Road, along with their Cazenovia office. The Cicero, Cazenovia, and Liverpool branches are scheduled to be ready for move-in at the end of January, completing a total investment of over $3 million dollars. There are also plans in place for HUNT to move its Utica/New Hartford branch in 2022.
Dave Evans, Regional Vice President of the HUNT Central New York Region, said of the moves and upgrades: “Our staff and sales professionals are all thrilled with the new spaces designed to best suit their needs, many of whom participated in our advisor groups that contributed to the final designs. I’m pleased we were also able to use all local vendors, from architects to contractors to furniture and fixture suppliers, keeping these projects supportive of Central New York businesses. These branches set the bar very high for all real estate offices, something that we are all excited about.”
“We have great confidence in the Central New York region of our state. Our presence, commitment, and investment in our people and facilities reflects this confidence, which is now reflected in our growing market share, and positions us for continued growth well into the future,” said Peter Hunt, Chairman and CEO of HUNT Real Estate. “We are grateful for the support of Dave Evans, our Branch Leadership, and our Sales Professionals throughout this process, and to the local contractors and businesses with whom we partnered to make all this happen.”
