Dan joined the Hunt Real Estate team in 2018 after an 11-year career in federal civil service with the Department of Defense, where he served as a civilian strategic communication advisor to senior military officials. A 16-year veteran of the armed forces himself (in both the Army and Navy), Dan continues to serve our great nation as a public affairs officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He is also the director of public affairs for the New York Naval Militia, the state's naval equivalent to the National Guard. Prior to entering civil service, Dan was a top-performing advertising sales consultant and marketing research manager with two of the largest media companies in the country.
Born, raised and educated in Western New York, Dan is a graduate of Niagara University and the State University of New York at Brockport, where he earned a Master of Business Administration in strategic marketing and a Bachelor of Science in education. He's also an honor graduate of the Department of Defense Information School.
While Dan's primary expertise lays in the fields of digital marketing, integrated communication and strategic consulting, he also has in-depth knowledge of construction. He spent the first five years of his career in the trades and has since then renovated several homes -- to include his own. Drawing from his wealth of knowledge, education and experience, Dan elevates the quality of representation that clients receive and the strategic tactics devised to negotiate better contracts on their behalf.
