Stone fences and rock piles about the property define the areas that were pasture and hay fields. Lyman Brook finds it way through the property, winding through hogback eskers, and slowing to rest in several beaver ponds on it's way south. Brook trout are certain to be found in these cool, clear waters that begin their journey on the Cottrell State Forest on the northern boundary. Snowmobile and ATV trails are nearby, a public electric utility pole is within 150' of the house and the Ernst Road is maintained year round by the Town. Some mature timber was harvested over 15 years ago. Some harvesting could be done now. Farm house has been abandoned for years and currently uninhabitable.
