Jennifer Capala has built her successful real estate career on an unwavering commitment to superior professional standards, along with a keen ability to work through challenges with creativity and a sense of humor. It should come as no surprise that because of this commitment to high standards Jennifer is consistently placed among the to 10% of sales agent in her region. She has also been the top producer in her office on several occasions. As one of her satisfied seller clients wrote, “Jennifer was a wonderful agent who managed to sell my home in a tough market, and with me as a largely absent owner. It was a tough job but she did it well, with grace, and putting in long hard hours. I am her biggest fan!”
Jennifer Capala cheerfully admits to being obsessed with real estate. Her love of real estate began over 20 years ago when she purchased a Brooklyn firehouse, which turned out to be the gift that just keeps giving. As she explains, “I am addicted to the thrill of the hunt for the perfect property. My buyers know that I will persevere on their behalf until they feel 100% satisfied. I take great care to find the true value and quality in a property. A wise real estate investment can really transform your life.”
Jennifer came to real estate after a successful career as a commercial photographer, documenting architecture and interiors for top designers throughout New York City. She juggled photography with property development in Brooklyn. This hands-on construction experience, along with her background in design has given her the ability to assess the true potential of most any home. New York Magazine published the story of the circa-1900, former firehouse in Williamsburg that she transformed from a wreck into a livable, multi-use space.
Jennifer summarizes it best: “Five words that describe me: Enthusiastic, Dependable, Committed, Creative, Ethical”. When not hard at work, Jennifer greatly enjoys her down time exploring the region family and friends, taking long walks with Harvey the dog, and practicing Yoga at her favorite studio in Chatham.
