Clarence is the oldest town in Erie County with a population of approximately 24,000.  There are many historic areas as well as a pleasant mix of upscale subdivisions and more rural settings.  The area's major strength is its housing with the highest median sale price in the county.  Its convenient location next to Amherst caters to executives.  The school system is also one of the area's highest rated and well sought after by families with children.
